Casual atmosphere, terrific burgers, friendly staff and cold beer cheap. Who could ask for more? Oh, and trivia night is fun. They are not kidding when they say "Small". But that's part of the charm.
The food here is the latest hidden gem in south Charlotte. We got the burger, hotdog, and wings and they were all top notch. Great flavors and great texture. Thank you to chef Joel. We’ll be back to try your pizza.
Took a weekend trip up to Matthew’s from Charleston. Went by here on a Saturday night and loved the atmosphere. The bartender was polite and quick and was holding it all down by herself. The security guard, Randy I think is his name, was awesome. Talked with him for a while and he was as cool as could be. If you’re in Matthews, you gotta visit this bar.
Great place to hang out and socialize with friends…maybe even meet some new ones.
Nice little bar with good food, great prices and friendly staff. He chef hooked us up one night after the kitchen was closed, cool place.
I did not eat here but friends did. The wings looked great as did the patty melt. Love the vibe here and the drink prices are fantastic. The atmosphere is fantastic. The staff are very attentive even with a larger crowd.
Great food! Cold beer. Best beer prices in the area. Service is fantastic. All around great little joint. And the pizza and wings, oh my goodness.
Stars acknowledge establishment type. Great "DIVE BAR". Fun, attentive staff. Terra is awesome! Not to knock the rest of the great crew. Jovial atmosphere, although could benefit from some more youngsters to keep us older people under control! Adding a couple more "Craft beer" cans might help without ruining the local, low-key feel, but craft is available and affordable. Food is better than typical. Frequent Friday music, week night games.
I have never been in here before. My boyfriend has brought home wings on several occasions and they were pretty good. Last night however the wings he brought home were amazing. I will definitely be requesting them again soon.
Got their seafood Friday fish special to-go for my picky Mom and I. Amazing food and service, Tara was sweet and a attentive bartender and the food was amazing. Chef must be superb because my Mom ate her whole portion. Only complaint that bartop area is so small (but then again, they do forewarn you in name of the place) we will be repeat customers
